  • Port Jefferson, NY Ongoing Position Starting Friday, May 23, 2026 At Home Services for Independent Living, Inc.
is seeking a compassionate and reliable companion caregiver for an elderly couple in Port Jefferson, NY. This is an ongoing part-time position beginning Friday, May 23, 2026.
Schedule:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday 9:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM $20 per hour Primary responsibilities will focus on assisting the husband and may include: Meal preparation Verbal encouragement and support with non-medical physical therapy exercises Possible grocery shopping/errands Light household tasks Companionship and general supervision The ideal applicant will be kind, dependable, patient, and encouraging with a calm demeanor.
Prior companion care experience preferred. . Expedited interviews will be held this weekend for the right applicant.
