Complex/Ballpark Attendant

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will report to the Facilities department at the Player Development Complex and/or TD Ballpark in Dunedin, Florida. Under general supervision, this role performs custodial duties related to the care and cleaning of the interior and exterior of the assigned facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs routine inspections of building cleanliness and overall general appearance, reporting issues in a timely manner. Maintains the cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas. Service, clean, or supply restrooms, including admin, grounds, and concourse. Clean building floors as needed by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash. Manages all cardboard in accordance with department standard operating procedures. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors. Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Pressure washing various areas within the concourse and bowl area. Complete minor repairs and building improvements. Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Provides operational support for events, including but not limited to set-up and tear-down of tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies. Assist trade workers and maintenance technicians in performing assigned tasks. Paint building interiors and exteriors. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions. Tracks and monitors work orders daily. Perform other duties as assigned.

Facilities Management Software or CMMS Microsoft Office Microsoft Word

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of routine cleaning and chemical usage. Strong computer and mobile device skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic maintenance skills a plus. Highly motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude. Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
