Job Title:
Compounder Helper - Night Shift text 6 3 0 6 2 5 9 1 0 4 if intersted Job Description The Compounder Helper on the night shift supports production operations by thoroughly sanitizing and reassembling filling equipment between product runs, accurately documenting work in computer systems, and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment. This role requires careful attention to detail, the ability to follow written production reports, and the physical capability to handle equipment and materials in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled GMP production facility. Responsibilities Sanitize filling machines after each product run, ensuring all equipment meets sanitation and GMP standards. Disassemble pumps, valves, and hoppers safely and correctly prior to cleaning. Clean all equipment components using water and mineral water according to established procedures. Reassemble pumps, valves, and hoppers accurately after cleaning to prepare machines for the next production run. Read and interpret production reports to determine which product is scheduled next and identify the correct valves, pumps, and components to install. Clean conveyor belts and other production line surfaces to maintain a hygienic work area. Troubleshoot basic issues with filling machines and related equipment and escalate more complex mechanical problems to a mechanic when needed. Lift and move equipment or materials, using a lift device for heavier items up to 100 pounds, in accordance with safety guidelines. Create and close work orders in the MP2 computer system to accurately document maintenance and sanitation activities. Use the Master Control system to document training completion and maintain up-to-date training records. Follow all GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean, organized work area and support overall production efficiency on the night shift. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with sanitation or industrial cleaning in a production environment. Ability to safely disassemble and reassemble pumps, valves, hoppers, and related equipment following written and verbal instructions. Capability to read and understand production reports and apply that information to machine setup and component selection. Basic troubleshooting skills to identify equipment issues and determine when to escalate to maintenance personnel. Comfort with using computer systems, including entering and closing work orders in systems such as MP2. Ability to use electronic systems like Master Control for documenting training and maintaining records. Physical ability to lift and move items up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a lift, and to stand for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following sanitation, safety, and GMP procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Sanitizing experience in a food environment, such as meat packing, is a strong plus. Experience in pharmaceutical or personal care production sanitation is highly beneficial. Experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar production cleaning role is advantageous. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments and related documentation requirements. Ability to work effectively on a night shift schedule and adapt to a very fast-paced production setting. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a temperature-controlled GMP production environment that operates at a very fast pace. Team members stand for the entire shift while working around filling machines, conveyor belts, and related equipment. The facility emphasizes safety and hygiene, requiring hair nets, beard guards as applicable, safety glasses, and ear protection while on the production floor. Employees receive a locker on their first day, and all personal belongings must be stored there; only a clear bag containing items such as a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen may be carried into the production area. Work involves handling equipment and materials, using a lift device for heavier loads up to 100 pounds, and regularly interacting with computer systems such as MP2 and Master Control within a structured, compliant manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.24/hr.
