Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and detailing concrete surfaces to ensure smooth, durable, and high-quality results. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to excellence in construction craftsmanship. Duties Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and smoothness. Set up and operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Install rebar and metal reinforcement in accordance with blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Perform rebar installation, form setting, and concrete pouring for foundations, slabs, walls, and other structures. Conduct finishing tasks such as troweling, edging, floating, and caulking to ensure flawless surfaces. Assist with related tasks including masonry work, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction estimating and blueprint reading. Mechanical knowledge of construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and power tools essential for the role. Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco work, carpentry (including trim carpentry), roofing support, and metal stud framing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during concrete pouring and finishing processes. Knowledge of schematics for equipment setup and troubleshooting; familiarity with welding is a plus. Strong background in construction site experience across commercial or renovation projects; familiarity with restoration work is advantageous. Valid driver's license for commercial driving; experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes or forklifts preferred. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working efficiently on fast-paced projects. Join us in building durable structures that stand the test of time!
