As an ER RN, you'll be immersed in a multifaceted 31-bed emergency unit averaging 78 patients per day, treating everything from critical traumas to complex cardiac, neuro, and behavioral health cases. You'll coordinate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, gaining new insights from various specialties and leadership styles, all while contributing as a subject matter expert and frontline caregiver.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts available: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a
• Rotating weekends (every third weekend)
• No on-call; assigned holidays based on a fair rotation
• Schedules built in 6-week increments with flexibility when possible

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience (any trauma level)
• Proficiency in IV starts, foley/NG tube insertion, neuro assessment, triage, code response, pressor/cardiac/sedation drips, hyper/hypothermia care, moderate sedation, and bedside procedures
• Comfortable providing clinical leadership and adapting in high-acuity situations
• Team-focused approach with strong communication skills
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

• Deliver high-quality emergency care for a varied patient population, from infants to geriatrics
• Quickly assess, stabilize, and treat critical conditions
• Collaborate with 24/7 support teams—charge nurse, ER physicians, hospitalists, RT, CT/X-ray on site
• Lead by example, share expertise, and support continuous improvement
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols and unit standards
