This travel assignment provides you a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics, in a busy Emergency Department averaging 78 patients a day. Deepen your expertise in a wide range of conditions including trauma, critical medical emergencies, complex cardiac issues, and the care needs of underserved communities. Working alongside experienced ER subject matter experts, 24/7 available charge nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, and robust support staff, you'll gain invaluable insights into distinctive workplace practices and leadership styles, elevating your professional profile. Exposure to leading edge technologies such as Cerner EMR, Plumo IV Pumps, Omnicell med dispensing, Phillips monitors, ultrasound, and VAD equipment will enhance your clinical skills while expanding your resume for future opportunities.

Schedule/Hours:

Day Shift:

7:00 am•7:00 pm

Mid Shift:

11:00 am•11:00 pm

Night Shift:

7:00 pm•7:00 am Rotating weekends (every third), with holiday rotation; no on-call Schedule provided in six-week increments

Qualifications:

Active RN license Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience (any trauma level) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Proficiency in IV starts, triage, critical care, code response, neuro assessment, procedural sedation, and team leadership Adaptable, team-oriented, with strong communication skills Prior travel experience required

Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population Perform comprehensive assessments, initiate advanced interventions, and assist with bedside procedures Respond rapidly to codes and high-acuity situations Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and support staff
