Construction Safety Manager

Job Overview:

YellowBird is seeking a credentialed Construction Site Safety Manager for a dedicated on-site assignment supporting a large-scale commercial roofing and construction project in Ridgeville, SC. This is a full-time, on-site safety leadership role requiring 100% site presence and availability for extended consecutive workdays. The selected professional will oversee daily hazard identification, enforce corrective actions, and manage safety operations across multiple subcontractors in a high-activity construction environment. • August 10, 2026 (potential extension to the contract) Monday
• Friday 7AM
• 6 PM (average 50 hours) Weekend availability required as needed (weather/project dependent)

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the designated on-site Trade Partner Safety Manager Maintain 100% on-site presence throughout the project Conduct daily hazard identification and risk assessments Exercise authority to stop work and implement corrective actions Oversee safety compliance for 25+ on-site personnel, including sub-tier trade partners Ensure OSHA compliance and enforcement of site-specific safety policies Lead toolbox talks, site audits, and incident investigations Maintain documentation and credential compliance

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field (required) Active BCSP certification: CSP, ASP, or CHST OR valid OSHA 500 and/or

OSHA 510

designation Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction card (updated within last 3 years) First Aid, CPR, and AED certified 3+ years of full-time experience as a Construction Safety Manager Demonstrated authority and experience taking immediate corrective action Experience managing safety on projects with 25+ workers

Compensation:
