In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within the construction industry. Your expertise in outside sales, territory management, and technical product knowledge will be essential to successfully promote our construction solutions and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a proactive approach to lead generation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Duties Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, cold calling, and networking within the construction sector. Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical sales presentations tailored to client needs. Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize market coverage and sales potential. Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, industry trends, and competitors to effectively position offerings. Facilitate seamless communication between clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met accurately. Support sales management in setting goals, forecasting sales performance, and analyzing market opportunities. Experience Proven success in outside sales or B2B sales within the construction or related industries. Demonstrated experience in territory management, lead generation, and account management. Strong background in technical or product-based sales with an emphasis on construction materials or services. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent tools for managing customer relationships. Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to perform product demos effectively and upsell additional solutions. Prior experience in retail sales or inside sales is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong analysis skills for evaluating market data and identifying new opportunities. Experience in managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
