This role involves providing exceptional food service, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, kitchen operations, and customer service within the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where culinary skills and attention to detail are highly valued. Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure variety and nutritional balance Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas Serve food to customers or residents with professionalism and courtesy Maintain proper knife skills for efficient food prep and presentation Support catering events by preparing dishes and coordinating service Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards at all times Assist in kitchen organization, inventory management, and stock rotation Contribute to a positive dining experience through excellent customer service skills Requirements Previous experience in dietary services, culinary arts, or related food industry roles is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Experience with fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments is a plus Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper handling procedures Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Prior experience with food service or kitchen operations is desirable but not mandatory Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks
