Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen. Assist in the inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies. Collaborate with the care staff to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Participate in special events and themed meals to enhance resident engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cook in a healthcare or residential setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary requirements. Culinary degree or certification preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Compassionate demeanor and a passion for serving others. Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed in the kitchen.
