Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into your next adventure as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in the breathtaking Kenai area, where whales breach just offshore, porpoises play, and the northern lights paint the night sky. Embrace the opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives in a travel-friendly school setting while experiencing the natural beauty of Alaska. We are seeking dynamic, compassionate OTs to fill three on-site roles—both full-time and part-time positions are available. Work across several welcoming school locations near Sterling, AK, delivering essential therapy services to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to work full-time or part-time Willingness to travel between school sites within the Kenai area Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in person
Your Daily Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions that foster students' academic and functional success Document student progress, maintain organized records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide guidance on equipment, adaptations, and strategies that promote independence and participation
