Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Spartanburg School District One Employment Opportunity Coordinator of Applications and Software Spartanburg School District One is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and enriching educational environment for all students. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Coordinator of Applications and Software, overseeing programs that support student well-being, success, and engagement. The Coordinator of Applications and Software will be responsible for Student Information System (SIS) data entry, troubleshooting, reports, data movement, student report cards, transcript templates, new year rollover, backup, and enrollment Maintaining compliance with data interoperability standards (Ed-Fi) for required state quarterly (QDC) data extractions and data transfers (LEVEL DATA). Coordinating Student Information System (SIS) data entry and reporting to all local, state, and federal agencies Coding Custom Fields in PowerSchool Coordinating the operation and integration of state, district, and school databases Managing and coordinating applications (i.e., ClassLink, Hapara, Microsoft Active Directory, EasyIEP, Destiny, Rally, Tableau, Apptegy, etc), database connections to various vendor software services, student and staff accounts, logins, and credentials Providing training and support to school database managers and data security officers. Managing enrollment and registration for all schools Managing grade storage, student report card distribution, and student transcripts Supporting school personnel as needed on various software applications. Managing and coordinating Microsoft Active Directory groups and permissions for staff and students. Ensuring all data connectors between ERP Pro and other software to create staff and student accounts, manage logins, and manage credentials work efficiently Creating Google and AD accounts for Student Teachers, ReGenesis personnel, Cafe personnel, School Resource Officers, etc. Troubleshooting issues with Google Admin related to accounts, applications, and email. (i.e., name changes) Managing Food Services software to ensure data accuracy for PIP state requirements. Supporting and troubleshooting any software tickets generated by Sherpadesk.
Qualifications:
IT Certification with Sequel (SQL); Minimum of 5 years of experience; and Strong knowledge of student information systems
