Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrician to join our team, bringing energy and expertise to a variety of electrical projects across cabins construction sites. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems with precision and safety at the forefront. Your hands-on experience with electrical wiring, schematics, and technical tools will drive successful project outcomes and ensure compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial and industrial sites using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes within industrial environments. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure seamless electrical integration. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance documentation. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; construction site experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, NEC standards, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ohmmeters, and other testing devices. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Ability to read technical schematics and construction drawings accurately. Familiarity with renovation projects and frame carpentry is a plus; handyman experience is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
