Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage selections at the counter Prepare simple food items following safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff Manage order flow during busy times to ensure quick service in a fast-food or café setting Skills Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast-food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales opportunities Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during peak hours Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail environment is preferred but not required Join us today to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service!
