Key Qualifications:

Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent experience in a CVOR Tech role Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) or similar surgical environment Comprehensive knowledge of sterile field maintenance and instrument handling Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with surgical, nursing, and anesthesia teams BLS certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in prepping operating rooms and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures Support surgeons and nursing staff during operative cases by anticipating needs and providing necessary instruments Ensure proper sterilization and decontamination of equipment and supplies Monitor and maintain sterile environments throughout each surgical case Safeguard patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols
