CPR and First Aid Instructor

The CPR Instructor plays a vital role in educating individuals on emergency response techniques, focusing on CPR/first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This position involves delivering engaging in-person training sessions to a range of class sizes, from small to large groups, utilizing established curriculum materials to ensure consistent and effective instruction. Responsibilities Conduct in-person CPR and first aid training sessions for small to large groups Prepare training materials in accordance with provided curriculum Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Manage classroom environment to facilitate optimal learning Instruct students in CPR techniques, basic first aid, and BLS for Healthcare Providers Maintain and care for training equipment to ensure safety and functionality Required Qualifications Proficient in CPR techniques and first aid procedures Strong public speaking and effective communication skills Experienced in classroom management and student engagement Attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy Solid knowledge of emergency response protocols Medical Background Required Preferred Qualifications Over 1 year of experience as a CPR instructor preferred Background in emergency medical services or related fields preferred
