is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and other construction machinery used in oilfield and commercial construction operations throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of mechanic experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. This role requires travel to various job sites, and a company truck will be provided. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles Repair and service dozers, graders, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and pickups Troubleshoot breakdowns in the field and respond to service calls Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Ensure all repairs are completed safely and efficiently Communicate with supervisors and operators regarding equipment status Keep company service truck organized and properly stocked Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of mechanic experience (heavy equipment and diesel preferred) Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems Ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Must pass a background check Willingness to travel to job sites throughout
