Cranberry Marsh Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated full time Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our cranberry marshes. This role will consist of irrigating, frost watch, pest control, equipment maintenance, marsh maintenance and harvest. The ideal candidate will have strong agricultural knowledge, leadership skills, and experience managing outdoor operations in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Help oversee day-to-day cranberry marsh operations Irrigation, frost watch, flooding, sanding, harvest, and water management Supervise seasonal and full-time staff Operate and maintain farm and harvest equipment Maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations Qualifications Required Experience in agriculture, farming, or cranberry production Knowledge of irrigation and water management systems Ability to operate agricultural machinery and equipment Some weekends required during busy season Valid driver's license Preferred Experience specifically in cranberry marsh operations Pesticide applicator certification Mechanical or equipment repair experience Skills Team leadership Problem-solving Equipment operation Agricultural planning Time management Attention to detail Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to walk uneven terrain and work extended seasonal hours during harvest Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Housing provided Health insurance Vacation Retirement plan Seasonal bonuses
