The C&P Program Manager provides Credentialing Management for the Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program Management Services at Joint Base Andrews. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall project execution and supervision of team providing Air National Guard Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Program Management Services. This is primarily an onsite position at the customer site ANG Joint Base Andrews Surgeons' Office and travel to complete any training needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides program management, administration and subject matter expertise in Credentialing and Privileging (C&P) of ANG healthcare. Manages staff concerned with the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging of network providers. Oversees day-to-day operational credentialing and privileging activities. Develop, implement, and maintain credentialing and privileging policies, standard operating procedures, and workflows. Monitor provider credentialing timelines and ensure timely appointment, reappointments, and privileging actions. Prepare reports, dashboards, and readiness metrics for leadership and field review Serve as liaison among medical leadership, credentialing committees, healthcare providers, military treatment facilities, and regulatory agencies. Coordinate meetings and actions related to credentialing and privileging boards. Reviews provider credential applications; maintains a database of certifications; and confirms certifications, credentials, and processes match existing guidelines within the organization's jurisdiction and follow professional standards, bylaws, and State and Federal regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
: Prior experience with National Guard C&P processes (ARNG or ANG). Demonstrated experience providing C&P for military health system operations is required. Excellent verbal and written communications skills Demonstrated Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a range of military personnel and audiences, to include senior medical staff and management. Knowledge and understanding of AFI 44-119, DoDI 6025.13, ANG C&P guidance, DHA PM 6025.13 and other pertinent DoD, AF, and MHS guidance, processes, and procedures. CCQAS and Carepoint familiarity as well as an understanding of the function and interaction of the systems in the ANG C&P process Microsoft Office skills required as well as ability to work within military/government proprietary databases and applications. A minimum of 4 years of relevant medical/health systems experience, with preference for Military Health Systems environment working knowledge A minimum of 2 years of experience in acquisition, maintenance and review of professional licensure, privileging or continuing education of military healthcare providers, or equivalent experience as a credentialed health care provider. Microsoft Office skills required as well as ability to work within military/government proprietary databases and applications. Availability during Regularly Scheduled Drill Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) Experience supporting readiness or medical operations within the Air National Guard or Department of Defense.
