Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Multimodality Tech I (Part-Time, Radiology) to join our dynamic imaging team. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, and other modalities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities such as
CT, MRI, PET
scans, mammography, DEXA scans, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and sonography with precision and attention to detail. Ensure patient safety by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining strict infection control protocols. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the imaging session. Operate advanced imaging equipment including CT scanners, MRI machines, and other radiology systems while following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images necessary for accurate diagnosis. Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic and other hospital information systems. Assist in equipment maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues promptly, and report any malfunctions or safety concerns. Requirements Proven experience in diagnostic radiology with proficiency in CT imaging; additional experience with MRI, nuclear medicine, or sonography is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for various imaging procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to radiology practices. Demonstrated understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control standards within a hospital setting. Experience operating EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and reporting purposes. Knowledge of medical imaging modalities including PET scans, DEXA scans, mammography, X-ray, nuclear medicine, and MRI is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Certification or licensure in radiologic technology is required; additional certifications in MRI or nuclear medicine are advantageous. $27.52 - $51.19 per hour
