Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care using advanced CT imaging technology in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract opportunity specializes in performing computerized tomographic procedures and may include general diagnostic radiology exams as needed. The role places a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and patient experience.
Schedule/Hours:
17-week contract 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Block scheduling available No on-call shifts
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (CT) certification Valid BLS certification Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT technologist Demonstrated experience with GE, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables preferred Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Clearly explain procedures and provide preparation instructions to patients Review clinical requisition information and complete appropriate CT and general diagnostic exams Set up procedure rooms and maintain adequate stock of necessary supplies Operate and control specialized imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Administer intravenous contrast and monitor patients for adverse reactions, providing immediate intervention as needed Prepare and maintain sterile equipment for complex procedures in coordination with radiologists Adhere to radiation protection principles (including ALARA standards) and employ shielding techniques Resolve imaging and PACS issues, verify image integrity, and ensure correct study completion in RIS Consistently meet team member standards including positive communication and professionalism Complete accurate and timely documentation in both medical and radiology information systems This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while utilizing your technical expertise.
