Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful opportunity as a CT Technologist, where your imaging expertise is essential in delivering quality diagnostic care within a dynamic healthcare environment. In this contract role, apply your knowledge in computed tomography while collaborating with a skilled team to ensure patient comfort and accurate image acquisition.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid, up-to-date licensure to perform CT imaging procedures (as required by state regulations) Hands-on experience operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient positioning, and cross-sectional anatomy Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent attention to detail and commitment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT imaging studies with concern for patient comfort and safety Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-resolution scans for physician interpretation Follow established protocols for contrast administration and imaging procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with privacy standards Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes Inspect and maintain CT equipment, reporting malfunctions or issues as necessary Uphold all safety guidelines pertaining to infection control and radiation protection This contract assignment provides a valuable platform to demonstrate your technical skills and patient-focused approach in a supportive healthcare setting.
