Fraser Commercial Services is looking for a working supervisor for our New London area team. We are a family run, veteran owned company and we have been cleaning commercial buildings in Connecticut since 1987. This is a hands on role. You will still clean, and you need to be good at it. But we are looking for someone who wants more than a regular cleaning job. Someone who can train new people, keep the crew on track, cover when someone calls out, meet with our customers, and walk buildings with us when we bid new work. If you are the person your coworkers already come to with questions, this is for you. We will train you on our systems, our accounts, and the specialty work like floor care and carpets. What we cannot teach is being reliable, owning the job, and treating people right. That part is on you.

What you will do:

• Clean commercial buildings, offices, and restrooms, and jump in wherever the crew needs help
• Train new employees on site until they can work on their own
• Cover open shifts and call outs so our customers never notice a gap
• Meet with employees, check in on how things are going, and pass along feedback
• Meet with customers, check in on how their buildings look, and handle requests and concerns
• Go on bid walks with the owner to look at new buildings and help figure out the work
• Inspect buildings and make sure the job meets our standard What we are looking for:
• Commercial cleaning or janitorial experience
• Some experience training or leading people, even informally
• Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred. Much of our crew speaks Spanish
• Professional and comfortable talking with customers
• Dependable and on time, every time
• Clear communicator. Comfortable giving direction and taking it
• Flexible schedule. Mostly days and evenings, with the occasional early or late call out
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You will drive between sites
• Able to pass a background check What we offer:
