This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your research, technical skills, and field experience to help preserve an important archaeological site. This position requires a willingness to learn archaeological excavation and laboratory skills. Responsibilities Perform Phase II and Phase III archaeological excavation Assist in archaeological field excavations and laboratory analysis of cultural artifacts Attention to detail while maintaining archaeological units, field forms, and curation records Requirements Some prior excavation experience in archaeology is highly desirable Demonstrates organizational skills Work with a team under the supervision of field and lab directors Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while conducting field surveys This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals passionate about cultural heritage preservation who thrive in active, detail-oriented roles.
