Curb Machine Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Curb Machine Operator to join our team at JKD Construction. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively on commercial and large residential projects. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals. We provide competitive pay with an excellent benefits package. Duties Operate Gomaco GT3600 curb machine safely and efficiently. Interpret plan specifications to determine the correct location, width, and shape of the curb. Load, position, and pour concrete into the curb machine. Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Assist with hand finishing, edging, and clean-up tasks. Follow all company safety rules and DOT regulations. Document construction activities accurately on a daily report and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly. Requirements 2 years experience operating a curb machine Experience reading and interpreting plans Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements Able to work around moving equipment and tolerate loud noise levels. Bend and stoop repeatedly throughout the day. Able to push, pull and lift 50+lbs. Able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Able to walk on rough, rocky and uneven surfaces at construction sites.
