Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard located in Melbourne, FL is searching for a Client Service Representative to join our team!
Compensation:
$19 - $20/hr, based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Three 12 hour shifts per week, 7a - 7pm

About You:

Role:
Prior experience in a veterinary hospital or medical office environment preferred Outstanding client service and communication skills Strong computer and administrative skills, including data entry and multi-line phone systems Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a busy hospital environment Working knowledge of veterinary terminology and common dog and cat breeds preferred Experience with veterinary software such as EzyVet and SmartFlow is a plus Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and solution-focused during difficult or emotional client interactions Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Client Services Greet clients and patients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming, supportive experience Check in patients for both specialty appointments and emergency visits Schedule appointments and manage the hospital calendar for multiple services Respond professionally to client requests, phone calls, and messages Facilitate communication between clients, doctors, technicians, and hospital leadership Complete patient check-out, schedule follow-up appointments, and process payments Demonstrate empathy and compassion during sensitive or emotional client interactions Medical Records & Documentation Maintain and manage medical records within hospital systems such as EzyVet and SmartFlow Prepare medical records for appointments and procedures Send medical records to clients, referring veterinarians, and partner facilities as requested Communication Deliver verbal, written, and electronic communication clearly, accurately, and professionally Ensure communications are documented appropriately according to hospital procedures Route messages efficiently to the appropriate team members Hospital Support & Team Collaboration Actively support doctors, technicians, and hospital staff as part of a collaborative team environment Assist other departments when needed to ensure smooth hospital operations Participate in problem-solving and contribute ideas that improve client service and hospital efficiency Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard is a 24-hour veterinary hospital with a goal of providing premier diagnostics and therapeutics in a comfortable, compassionate environment.
