Kennel Manager /Owner Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our team as a Front Desk Reception & Kennel Technician. This role is a blend of customer-facing responsibilities and hands-on animal care. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent care to both pets and their owners.Key Responsibilities Front Desk Reception Duties:
Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Schedule appointments, check pets in/out for boarding, daycare, grooming, and training services. Process payments, maintain accurate client records, and manage reservations. Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners about their pet's needs, progress, and care. Handle questions, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism.Kennel Technician Duties:
Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, and monitoring overall health. Exercise and supervise dogs during playtime and outdoor breaks. Administer medications and special diets as directed. Keep the facility clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to management. Assist with baths, grooming, and training sessions as needed.Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service or animal care preferred, but not required (willing to train the right person). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate toward animals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Weekends and Holidays required 20-25 hours per weekSimilar remote jobs
