Customer Service Specialist

Position Summary Maintain customer satisfaction by assuring that all orders meet customer requirements. General Purpose Process customer orders from receipt through shipment and delivery, including processing, tracking, editing, adjustments, and communication. Role Qualifications Must have strong interpersonal development skills, able to handle customer and consumer issues, decision-making skills, analytical skills, strong work ethic, open to new ideas, self-starter and able to work with cross functional team members in a challenging environment. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Position Responsibilities Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers' expectationCommunicate with customers, sales representatives, brokers, etc. over the telephone to communicate customer order status and/or adjustment where necessary in a timely, pleasing, and efficient mannerReceive, enter, and track customer orders to insure timely shipments and correct billing.

Verify that customer is not on credit hold before accepting an order and notify sales representative if a problem exists.

Verify that order meet our specified lead timesPublish and distribute an open order report, which includes new orders, pick-up or delivery dates, purchase order numbers, inventory status, scheduled and actual production, and orders that have been delivered Handle all product complaints with end users to assure proper resolution.

Work directly with Sales team to ensure successful execution of Crider customer policyProcess sample order requests from the sales field Essential Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Sales preferredMust be able to organize and manage multiple prioritiesComputer knowledge. Must know excel, word, power point and Macola (preferred)Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential informationAbility to recommend and implement areas for continuous improvementKnowledge of products and services sufficient to answer routine customer questionsKnowledge of general office procedures sufficient to work with and coordinate activities with other employeesStrong persuasion skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong customer orientationSuperior interpersonal skillsCommitment to company values Preferred Relevant Skills and Experience Prior customer service experience preferred but not necessaryAdvanced computer efficiency Positions reporting to this person
