Welcome! Price Self Storage is a growing company looking for a hard-working and energetic candidate to fill our Los Angeles Area Manager position! The Los Angeles Area Manager is a highly visible, field-driven leadership role responsible for supporting the Director of Operations in driving performance, accountability, operational excellence, and growth across two large self-storage facilities located within the City of Los Angeles. This is not a desk job . The Area Manager leads from the field - maintaining a strong onsite presence, coaching teams, auditing operations, improving sales and customer service, strengthening staffing, and ensuring facilities consistently meet Price Self Storage standards. The ideal candidate is solution-oriented, organized, responsive and action-driven ! They identify opportunities, address issues quickly, hold teams accountable, and follow through until results are achieved. DUTIES Lead from the field with consistent onsite involvement Coach and develop employees to maximize performance Drive sales, customer service, and operational results Audit facilities and operations to ensure company standards are met Identify issues and drive solutions - not just report problems Protect and improve the physical asset through hands-on oversight Process and complete lien sales following CA lien sale requirements Minimize accounts receivable following approved workflows Interview, hire, train and motivate a team of Self-Storage Specialists Support the Director of Operations with field-level insight, accountability, and execution Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience and passion to close sales and demonstrate customer service excellence.
  • Self-Storage, retail sales or hospitality preferred.
  • Experience managing operational audits.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook.)
  • Experience leading a team of sales or customer service agents preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The essential physical requirements of this position include the ability to: Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Speak and enunciate words clearly. Possess close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hear and respond appropriately to verbal communication and alarms. Walk extensively throughout facilities and properties. Stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform routine facility inspections. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Operate motor vehicles and golf carts. Use hands and arms to process paperwork, enter information into computer systems, place and remove company locks, and raise and lower storage unit doors. Travel regularly between assigned facilities. Travel by commercial airline when required.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
