Customer Service Coordinator
Job Description
Description A busy construction company is adding a Customer Service Coordinator to its team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being the person customers can rely on to get answers, coordinate next steps, and keep projects moving. You'll work closely with customers, project managers, field teams, vendors, and office staff. No two days will look exactly the same — you may be answering homeowner questions in the morning, coordinating a service appointment midday, and following up with a project manager on an outstanding issue in the afternoon.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a day-to-day contact for customers throughout the project or service process
+ Respond to customer questions by phone and email
+ Schedule appointments, inspections, deliveries, and service visits
+ Coordinate customer requests with project managers and field personnel
+ Provide updates regarding project timelines and scheduled work
+ Document customer interactions and requests in company systems
+ Track open customer issues through resolution
+ Follow up with internal teams when information or action is outstanding
+ Assist with change requests, service requests, and warranty-related inquiries
+ Maintain accurate customer and project records
+ Prepare customer correspondence and basic documentation
+ Help resolve scheduling conflicts and service issues
+ Escalate more complex concerns to appropriate management
+ Provide general administrative support to the project team Requirements + 1+ year of customer service, coordination, administrative, or office experience
+ Construction, home services, property management, or related experience is a plus
+ Strong verbal and written communication
+ Excellent organization and follow-through
+ Comfortable speaking with customers who may have urgent questions or concerns
+ Ability to coordinate multiple schedules and priorities
+ Strong computer skills
+ Experience with CRM, project management, or scheduling software preferred
