The CSM is solely responsible for the satisfaction and retention of our customers through exceptional leadership. The CSM facilitates the training and motivation of front-end staff through effective communication, organizational skills, analytical thinking, and computer proficiency. Always leading by example exemplifying the Applejack culture. Responsibilities Provide a positive and healthy work environment and culture that promotes customer service, staff development, and achievements. Manage, coach, and drive the performance of the Customer Service team. Responsible for managing a very busy front end. Provide excellent customer service, always going above and beyond the customer's expectations. Assist the Top Shelf Loyalty Club manager as needed. Provide weekly coaching and feedback including Top Shelf Loyalty capture rate and overages/shortages with cashiers. Create standard operating procedures as needed. Foster a sales-focused environment through daily coaching and motivation. Be a leader in the store with a can-do attitude stepping in wherever needed. Establish training and communication paths to keep staff up to date on best sellers, out-of-stock issues, special orders, and other customer-centric information. Effectively communicate in person, via email, and telephone. Coaching and documenting any employee issues by Human Resources policies. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Must be at least 21 years of age 1+ year of management experience leading and motivating a team of 15 or more employees 3-5 years of customer service or retail experience Results driven Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment Confident, articulate, and professional speaking and writing communication skills. Must be an enthusiastic team player Dress and present yourself in a clean and professional manner Requirements Ability to stand and walk for long periods Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs. Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
