This role calls for someone who can keep work moving through the shop, support technicians with troubleshooting, communicate clearly with customers, and coordinate new boat deliveries and repower projects with our sales team. What you'll do Prepare service estimates and explain recommended work to customers. Schedule jobs, coordinate parts and personnel, and track work through completion. Supervise shop and yard staff and help train team members. Work with technicians to diagnose boat, outboard, and rigging issues. Keep customers informed, manage service billing, and communicate with manufacturers. Coordinate new boat preparation and delivery with the sales department. Plan and oversee repower and rigging jobs. Submit warranty claims accurately and on time. What we're looking for At least five years of marine industry experience, including two years in a management role. Strong working knowledge of power boats, outboards, service operations, and troubleshooting. Experience with Lightspeed EVO or another dealership management system. Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage several jobs at once. Clear communication with customers, technicians, manufacturers, and sales staff. Experience with Yamaha, Honda, Mercury, or MerCruiser is a strong plus. Familiarity with Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Hurricane, World Cat, or Robalo boats, as well as repower and rigging work, is helpful.
