BayCare's staffing resource office is currently in search of experienced ER nurses who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Positions details- Part-Time Core Float Pool ER r equires floating between a region of hospitals based on census needs. Minimum commitment is 2 x12 hour shifts per week to include every 3rd Friday & Saturday, and 2 Sundays in 6-week schedule. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day.

Float between hospitals in regions 1 or 3 (see hospital regions below) Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.

6:45PM - 7:15AM Every 3rd Friday & Saturday, in addition two Sundays in 6-week schedule. Holiday bundle requirement
On Call:
No Always in person Float Pay differential The Registered Nurse - ER Responsibilities And Skills Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care. Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments. Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge. High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
