Portman's Music in Savannah is seeking a Customer Service Experience Coordinator to ensure positive customer interactions. Portman's Music with four retail locations in Georgia has been serving the music community for 90 years through musical instrument and sound system sales, school band and orchestra instrument rentals, lessons and repairs.

Job Description:

Full Time,40-hour position with benefits. Monday through Friday 10am-7pm schedule. Competitive pay up to $18 per hour. Strong customer service background to provide friendly, fast, and accurate service. Skilled at communicating and working with a team. Responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience. Greet customers when entering and assisting with simple purchases when the sales floor is busy. Capture and update customer information for loyalty points, returns, exchanges, warranty and marketing purposes. Skilled in accepting payments by cash, charge card, checking and completing financial documents. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Answer incoming calls, provide information and/or transfer calls. Handling merchandise exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner. Processing instrument rentals, rental returns, rental exchanges and repairs. Explaining the lesson program and signing up new students when the lesson coordinator is not available. Balancing the till at the end of the day and maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Maintaining a clean and organized customer service area. Design and printing of event sale signs. Assisting with store displays and merchandise signs. Creating seasonal decoration displays. Spanish speaking a plus!
