Showroom Manager - Design Interiors We are a premier design interiors company specializing in high-quality tile, hardwood, carpet, and other flooring solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to lead our showroom team, manage daily operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of interior design trends, working with both customers and vendor sales representatives to create a seamless and engaging experience in our showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Oversee Showroom Operations:
Ensure the smooth running of all showroom activities, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining showroom appearance to company standards.
Customer Service Excellence:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through product selections, providing detailed product information, and ensuring they receive top-tier service from initial consultation to after-sales support.
Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor sales representatives, staying updated on the latest product offerings and trends. Manage vendor visits, product training sessions, and ensure the showroom is stocked with the latest and most relevant products.
Sales and Performance Management:
Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth. Set and track sales targets, implement strategies to achieve them, and motivate the team to excel in a competitive environment.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Ensure that showroom staff are well-versed in all product offerings, trends, and customer preferences. Provide ongoing training to enhance staff product knowledge and sales techniques.
Visual Merchandising and Design:
Work closely with the design team to keep the showroom visually appealing, ensuring product displays are current, attractive, and aligned with seasonal trends. Understand customer preferences and recommend product pairings that reflect current interior design styles.
Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:
Handle any escalations, complaints, or issues with professionalism and a customer-first attitude. Resolve challenges related to both customer service and vendor partnerships to maintain the reputation of the company.
Reporting and Administration:
Monitor showroom performance metrics, prepare regular reports on sales, customer feedback, and vendor relations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in showroom management, retail management, or a similar customer-facing role in the design, interiors, or home improvement industries.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse range of customers and vendor sales representatives. Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Sales and Leadership Ability:
A strong sales background with experience leading teams, setting targets, and delivering on performance metrics.
Design Sensibility:
A good eye for design and trends in interior décor and furnishings. A passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces.
Organizational and Time Management Skills:
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain high levels of organization in the showroom.
Technical Knowledge:
