Job Description

Customer Service & Order Coordinator Embroidery Services Inc. | Lincoln, IL | On-site $16.00 to $19.00 per hour | Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM About us Embroidery Services Inc. has been a contract embroidery shop since 1977. Distributors, uniform companies, and other apparel businesses across the country send us their customers' garments, and we decorate them and ship them back out under their name. We are a small shop where every person's work is visible and nothing disappears into a department. We are owned and operated by a Christian family. You can read about our commitments at b2bembroidery.com/about. The role You keep jobs moving. Purchase orders arrive from our customers by email, garments arrive on our shelves from wherever the customer had them shipped, and your job is to make those two things agree before anything reaches our production floor. When a detail is missing, unclear, or doesn't match, you find the answer instead of guessing.
Your day:
Respond to customer email and answer the phone. This role is roughly 80% email and order entry, 20% phone. Enter purchase orders into our order system and verify every detail against what the customer sent and what physically arrived Follow up with customers on missing artwork, approvals, and order details Track any job that has stalled and clear whatever is holding it up Review incoming orders under our order screening procedure and flag anything that needs management review. We'll walk you through it. Print work orders and deliver them to the receiving area once approved Move garment boxes from our holding shelves to the production shelves. Boxes are typically under 40 lbs. Create customer invoices in Quick Books What we're looking for You catch things. A size breakdown that doesn't total, a color that doesn't match what showed up, a due date that can't work. Small errors bother you. You follow up without being told to. If you emailed someone Tuesday and heard nothing, you notice on Thursday and do something about it. You'll pick up the phone. Some problems only get solved by calling. You write clearly and professionally in email. You keep twenty open items in a system, not in your head. You are genuinely comfortable on a computer. Not just one program you know well, but moving quickly between email, a web-based order system, and Quick Books. You take instruction well and ask questions when something isn't clear. Experience in decorated apparel, promotional products, or commercial print is a plus, not a requirement. We will teach you embroidery. We cannot teach you to care about details. Attendance This role requires consistent daily attendance. Our production floor depends on work orders arriving on schedule, and there is no one else who covers this seat. We want to be clear about that up front so you can decide whether the schedule works for your life. Hours, pay, and time off Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 35 hours per week, on-site in Lincoln. No nights, no weekends, no on-call, no rotating schedule. $16.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience, with a formal review at 90 days. Paid leave accrued per hour worked in accordance with Illinois law. How to apply Send your resume to jobs@b2bembroidery.com. In your email, describe a time you caught someone else's mistake before it caused a problem, and what you did about it. We read these.
