Job Description

Customer Success Manager CTS Wichita, KS Job Details Full-time $40,000 - $60,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) 4% Match Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Teamwork Interpersonal skills Attention to detail Aviation Account management Full Job Description Come help us make aviation training smarter, easier, and a lot more human. We're looking for a smart, curious, empathetic, and relentlessly resourceful Customer Success Manager to join our growing Aviation Training team. At CTS, we build online training solutions for aviation professionals around the world. Our customers operate in an industry where details matter, regulations matter, and getting things right matters. That makes our work challenging—and genuinely interesting. We're not looking for someone who simply wants to manage a list of accounts. We're looking for someone who wants to own relationships, solve problems, learn how aviation works, challenge assumptions, and leave things better than they found them. If that sounds like you, keep reading. The Role As a Customer Success Manager, you'll be the person our customers know they can call when they need something figured out. You'll work with customers from the beginning of their relationship with CTS through onboarding, implementation, training, ongoing support, renewals, and everything in between. You'll learn their businesses, understand what they're trying to accomplish, and help them get there. Some days you'll be solving a customer's immediate problem. Other days you'll be digging into why something isn't working, coordinating with our internal teams, improving a process, or coming up with a better way to serve our customers. You'll have a lot of autonomy—and a lot of opportunities to make an impact. What you'll do Build real relationships. Become a trusted advisor to your customers—not just another person in their inbox. Own customer success. Help customers get the results they came to CTS to achieve, from onboarding through long-term adoption and renewal. Solve interesting problems. Listen carefully, ask good questions, connect the dots, and figure out what actually needs to happen. Be the voice of the customer. Bring customer feedback, ideas, and pain points back to the team and help turn them into better products and processes. Provide exceptional support. Help customers by phone and email with a level of service that makes them think, "I'm glad I called CTS." Think proactively. Don't wait for customers to tell you something is wrong. Spot opportunities, anticipate needs, and help prevent problems before they happen. Work across the company. Partner with sales, training, product, and operations to make sure customers have a seamless experience. Own projects. See something that could be better? Take it and run with it. We value people who don't need to be told exactly what to do next. Keep things organized. Accurately document customer interactions and account activity in Zoho and make sure important details don't fall through the cracks. Who We're Looking For We think great Customer Success Managers are part problem-solver, part detective, part relationship builder, and part air-traffic controller. You might be a great fit if you: Are naturally curious and genuinely enjoy figuring things out. Can take a complicated problem and turn it into a simple explanation. Love working with people but also enjoy digging into details and solving problems independently. Communicate clearly and confidently with everyone from frontline employees to company leadership. Have a positive, "let's figure it out" attitude. Pay attention to details without losing sight of the big picture. Take ownership instead of waiting for someone else to fix things. Are comfortable saying, "I don't know yet, but I'll find out." Enjoy learning new industries, technologies, regulations, and systems. Care about doing great work—not just checking boxes. And here's an important one: You don't have to know everything. In fact, we expect you won't. Aviation is complicated. Our customers are diverse. Our software and services are constantly evolving. The people who thrive here are the ones who are willing to get a little over their heads, ask smart questions, learn quickly, and make a dent. Bonus Points These aren't requirements, but they'll make us particularly interested: Experience in customer success, account management, customer service, or a similar role. Aviation experience or familiarity with the aviation industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with SaaS or other technology products. Experience managing projects or working across multiple teams. A frighteningly good attention to detail. The ability to make customers feel like they're talking to an actual human instead of a corporate robot. Why CTS? We're building more than a training platform. We're building a Training as a Service (TaaS) model that makes aviation training easier to manage, easier to understand, and more useful for the people who rely on it. You'll have the opportunity to: Work with interesting customers across the aviation industry. Learn an industry where there's always something new to figure out. Work with a smart, collaborative team that values ideas and initiative. Have a real voice in how we improve the customer experience. Take ownership of meaningful projects instead of waiting for permission to contribute. Grow your skills and your career as CTS grows. Have some fun while doing serious work. And yes, we like people who are good at their jobs. But we also like people who are good humans . We're building a team where people help each other, laugh together, share ideas, and genuinely want to see their teammates succeed. The Person Customers Remember Our favorite kind of CSM is the person customers ask for by name. The kind who gets the occasional holiday card or box of treats from a customer because they've gone above and beyond. The kind who doesn't just manage accounts—they builds relationships. If that's the kind of work you want to do, we'd love to meet you. Ready to board? If you're smart, curious, positive, and excited by the idea of figuring out hard problems, helping people, and making a little dent in the CTS universe , come join us. Apply today.
