Full-Time Position Summary The Night Manager is responsible for leading the evening shift store operations while ensuring outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and a clean, safe shopping environment. This role plays a key part in driving store sales through suggestive selling, customer engagement, and promoting enrollment in the Stepp Up rewards app. The Night Manager also oversees inventory accuracy, facility cleanliness, and employee accountability during night shift operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all night shift store operations and employees Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a friendly, fast, and welcoming experience for every guest Drive sales growth through effective suggestive selling techniques and customer engagement Promote and increase customer enrollment in the Stepp Up rewards app Ensure accurate inventory counts, product rotation, and stock organization Monitor and maintain in-stock conditions throughout the store and cooler areas Maintain clean, organized, and fully operational store facilities, restrooms, and fuel areas Perform nightly cash handling, register balancing, and shift reconciliation accurately Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and age-restricted sales regulations Complete required nightly reports, documentation, and communication logs Support employee training, coaching, and accountability for performance standards Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking merchandise, and maintaining visual presentation standards Required Competencies Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Proven ability to drive sales and promote loyalty programs Leadership and team supervision abilities Strong attention to detail, especially regarding inventory accuracy and cash handling Ability to motivate employees and maintain accountability Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Basic computer, POS system, and inventory management knowledge Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and stock shelves regularly Comfortable working in a convenience store and fuel station environment Preferred Qualifications Previous convenience store, retail, or gas station management experience Experience with inventory management and cash reconciliation Experience leading teams in a customer-focused environment High school diploma or equivalent preferred Schedule Evening shifts (3 nights / per week, and morning shift (2 days per week) but as business dictates. This is including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
