Commercial Route Dispatcher / Customer Service Position All State Waste, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Commercial & Residential Route Dispatcher / Customer Service Coordinator to oversee daily commercial waste collection operations while assisting with customer service throughout the day. This role is responsible for managing commercial route drivers, assisting with route issues and blockages, maintaining route efficiency, coordinating holiday schedules, and ensuring excellent communication with both customers and drivers. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate professionally through phone calls, emails, and internal systems.

Schedule Monday-Friday Typical hours:

6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Commercial routes operate between hours of 2:00 AM - 6:00 PM Responsibilities Dispatch and manage commercial route drivers throughout the day Assist drivers with blocked containers, access issues, route changes, and other operational challenges Respond professionally to inquiries via phone and email Maintain efficient routing and assist with route planning and adjustments Coordinate holiday schedules and route modifications Answer inbound customer service calls and assist customers with service-related inquiries Respond professionally to customer requests and emails Review routes and driver notes at the end of each day Ensure extra pickups and additional items serviced are properly documented and billed Notify customers of additional charges via email using attached driver photos and route documentation Work closely with drivers to ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently Qualifications Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent phone, email, and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities Ability to professionally manage and communicate with drivers Experience with dispatching, logistics, routing, or customer service preferred Comfortable working with computer systems, route software, and email communication Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills Waste industry experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and proactive who can manage the daily demands of commercial operations while providing excellent customer service.
