Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Warranty Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who understands warranty processes, customer service, troubleshooting, scheduling, and coordinating field technicians. The Warranty Coordinator will be responsible for managing warranty calls from start to finish, ensuring customers receive timely service while protecting the company from unnecessary warranty costs and callbacks. Key Responsibilities Receive, document, and manage electrical warranty service requests. Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, general contractors, and customers. Determine whether issues are warranty-related and identify potential causes. Coordinate and schedule warranty technicians and service personnel. Review completed warranty work and ensure issues are properly resolved. Communicate with field technicians regarding troubleshooting, materials, and required repairs. Maintain accurate warranty records, documentation, and job notes. Track warranty callbacks and identify recurring issues or workmanship concerns. Coordinate with project managers, service departments, and management when necessary. Assist with determining responsibility for warranty issues between the electrical contractor, builder, homeowner, manufacturer, or other trades. Monitor warranty costs and help reduce unnecessary callbacks and repeat visits. Follow up with customers to ensure warranty issues have been resolved satisfactorily. Qualifications 3+ years of warranty/service coordination experience required , preferably with an electrical contractor. Experience scheduling and coordinating service calls. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple warranty requests and priorities simultaneously. Proficient with computers, email, and job-management software. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
