As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Defects and Warranties Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our inventory. The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for managing the warranty claims process for products and services, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of warranty issues. This role involves working closely with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to facilitate warranty claims, maintain records, and enhance customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position that will be located at our main showroom in Evendale, OH.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Claims Management:
Review, process, and track warranty claims in accordance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers to gather necessary information, explain warranty terms, and provide updates on claim status.
Data Analysis:
Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and analyze data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal departments (e.g., sales, service, quality assurance) and external partners to resolve warranty-related issues and enhance product reliability.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on warranty claims, outcomes, and recommendations for product improvements to management.
Documentation:
Ensure all warranty claims are documented correctly and maintain comprehensive records for auditing and compliance purposes.
Training:
Provide guidance and training to team members on warranty policies, procedures, and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associate's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in warranty processing, customer service, or related fields.
Skills:
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to accurately review and process claims while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Problem-Solving:
Strong critical thinking skills to resolve complex warranty issues promptly. Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently. Familiarity with pools, spas, or home recreation products is beneficial but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
