Junior Account Manager Port Chester, NY (Hybrid) Zachys Wine International www.zachys.com The Job Zachys is one of the pre-eminent wine retailers & auction houses in the United States and based in Port Chester, NY. The Junior Account Manager for our Private Client Services sales expectations are: 1.5M-2.9M Responsibilities- Manage relationships and drive outbound sales by working with clients on an individual basis across retail, storage, and auction
- Interact with clients at events, tastings, and auctions. Light travel is required. Weekends and occasional evenings are required. Holidays are required.
- Available for inbound phone calls and emails from customers needing assistance with new and existing orders
- Participate in Web Sales Outreach Program
- Assist with Special Projects and ad hoc requests from Senior Management
- Share passion and knowledge of wine through curated content
- Attend Industry Events and Tastings as Continuing Education
- Support store functions, including sales on the floor Requirements The successful person in this position must be detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Account Managers should have 1+ years of experience in the Wine Industry
- Certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Society of Wine Educators, and/or Court of Master Sommeliers, not required but preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Outlook
- Experience in NetSuite, but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
