  • 10:00 PM) and weekend support as business needs require Position Summary Guaranteed Cleaning Services is seeking a Service Manager to oversee commercial cleaning operations across multiple customer locations.
This hybrid role combines field management, employee supervision, customer service, inspections, training, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is patient, technology-savvy, highly organized, and familiar with the Montgomery County, MD, and Northern Virginia. This individual must be comfortable working with employees from diverse backgrounds, building strong client relationships, managing multiple priorities, and learning company systems such as timekeeping, inspections, scheduling, and workforce management software. Key Responsibilities Manage and support cleaning team members across multiple accounts Maintain accountability for service quality and customer satisfaction Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality assurance reviews Train, coach, and develop employees to ensure performance standards are met Assist with onboarding and orientation of new team members
  • Manage employee schedules, attendance, and timecard approvals
  • Coordinate staffing needs, schedule changes, and emergency coverage Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers Investigate and resolve employee and customer concerns professionally Monitor labor hours, productivity, and account profitability Maintain inventory, equipment, and supply controls Identify opportunities for operational improvements and account growth Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures Participate in client meetings, facility walkthroughs, and special projects as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record Ability to travel regularly between customer locations Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must pass a criminal background check Experience 3-5+ years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience Strong customer service and client relationship experience Experience managing employee performance, attendance, and training Janitorial, facilities, hospitality, property management, or service industry experience preferred Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, professional, and approachable leadership style Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, email, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications Ability to learn and utilize workforce management, inspection, and timekeeping systems Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously Financial awareness, labor management, and budget accountability Knowledge of Chantilly, Sterling, Herndon, Reston, Fairfax, and surrounding Northern Virginia communities preferred.
