Job Description

The Field Service Coordinator schedules and coordinates field service activities while supporting customers, agents, Field Service Engineers, vendors, and internal teams. The role manages service requests, tracks open tickets, maintains accurate records, and communicates service status. It also supports financial administration by creating vendor purchase orders and auditing service invoices. Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch Field Service Engineers for startup, warranty, and service requests. Review service requests, coordinate schedules and resources, and monitor open tickets through completion. Communicate job requirements, schedules, and status updates to customers, agents, Field Service Engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Address service-related questions and escalate issues, exceptions, or scheduling conflicts when appropriate. Coordinate replacement parts, materials, and other resources needed to support field activities. Create purchase orders for approved vendors, subcontractors, and field service activities. Audit service invoices against purchase orders, approved scope, rates, service reports, and supporting documentation; resolve discrepancies before approval. Maintain accurate service, dispatch, purchase order, invoice, and related operational records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant additional education preferred. Experience in service coordination, dispatch, customer service, operations support, purchasing, or a related role. Experience creating purchase orders and reviewing vendor or service invoices preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management or scheduling systems, such as ConnectWise. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately while working independently and collaboratively. Compensation The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $60,000-$65,000.
