Job Description

Overview Reporting to the TN Division Manager, the Account Manager will provide all divisional customers with quotes, order acknowledgments, and manage all communications between clientele and Jamil Packaging with a focus on onboarding new items and managing open projects. In addition, this role will service the needs of our customers and serve as the communication link regarding products, services, and status of orders/projects and needs. This position will Support our customer Service/Admin role as well as Support the TN Division Manager as needed. - Liaison between Jamil Packaging Corporation sales team and customer. Essential Functions
- Support to the Customer Service/Administrative Role, Estimator, and Digital Manager during times of absence.
- Support as the lead for the daily morning and afternoon meetings, in the absence of the TN Division Manager.
- Manage inventory levels on accounts.
- Maintain or exceeding customer expectations/requirements.
- Respond effectively and accurately to customer requests, i.e., quotes, order management to include, status, product knowledge, and plant capabilities.
- Proactively maintain customer retention, taking into consideration profitability.
- Assist in determining root cause and corrective action by initiating Quality Corrective Action (QCA) process and positively responding to customer complaints based on individual customer needs.
- Provide support and proactively ensuring customer requests are complete to their standards and effectively communicate those standards to the customer, based on their desired means of communication.
- Understand, and stay current on Jamil products and markets related to events that impact standard business procedure so adjustments can be made.
- Project management of new projects, ensuring New Item Checklist is complete.
- Responsible for pricing authority within guidelines once initial pricing is established on reorders.
- Commit to shipping/delivery dates within guidelines on reorders.
- Develop and deliver timely and accurate cost estimates to customer or Sales.
- Build and verify accurate specifications and styles.
- Develop production routing/logistics plan for all orders with input from production.
- Communication liaison to Sales Representatives.
- Creating/editing SOP's; recommend changes in procedures and/or policies, when appropriate.
- Ensure Jamil's SOP's for consistency with established guidelines.
- Understanding, learning, and following all department SOP's effectively for the position.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned by supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be a working manager, able to manage any project in the absence of team members, or during peak times. This includes working overtime (OT) hours as the needs of the organization deem necessary.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be leader, able to effectively train, mentor, manage and hold team accountable.
- Must possess solid employee relation skills to effectively speak to and address employee issues and positively influence your team.
- Must possess conflict resolution skills to effectively handle employee concerns/issues in a timely manner.
- Must be organized with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to self-motivate, be accountable, direct and set priorities for your team.
- Must possess basic math skills to include fraction to decimal conversions and vice-versa.
- Must be proficient with MS Office Programs.
- Prefer experience with HRMS; however, willing to train the right individual. Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Preferred to have five (5) years' experience in the packaging/corrugated industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years Customer Service (inside sales) experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
- Required training and/or mentoring experience.
Pay:
$45,760.00 - $56,160.00 per yearBenefits:
