Overview BirdieBox is currently seeking a highly passionate, proactive, and detail-forward thinker to join our team as a Customer Success Manager (CSM). This role has the opportunity to grow into new roles or positions within the company upon performance reviews. This role will have multiple day-to-day duties and therefore requires a person that can easily multi-task and handle large amounts of information at once. Since we are such a rapidly growing company, this role will encompass high expectations from your manager with evolving responsibilities. A strong desire to learn, adapt, and grow are invaluable at our company. This is a hybrid seat.
Half of it is client-facing:
you are the client's day-to-day contact from the moment a sale is handed off to you until the final delivery.
Half of it is production:
you build the order in our ERP, you work with the production and kitting floor, and you make sure what ships is what was sold. Most customer success jobs stop at the email. This one does not. You will chase a decoration proof, count a kit, and fix a short-shipped component in the same afternoon that you write a client a status update. If you want only one half of that, this is the wrong job. The role is on-site because the product is on-site. The warehouse, the kitting floor, the decoration equipment, and the samples are all in Irving. The position reports to the Senior Director of Operations in Irving . Responsibilities Own assigned client accounts and orders from the sales handoff through final delivery. Act as the client's day-to-day contact. Give the client a status update at each stage, before the client has to ask. Build and maintain orders in the
ERP:
sale orders, bills of material, kit components, customization detail, and shipping detail. Coordinate with the warehouse, kitting, decoration, and print teams on timing, counts, and quality. Inspect kits before they ship. Move artwork, proofs, and sample requests through to approval. Track carrier shipments. Tell the client about a delay before the client finds it. Resolve order problems, and raise anything outside your authority to management the same day. Keep client and order records accurate in the ERP and the CRM. Look for the causes of repeat problems and propose fixes. Qualifications Required Three or more years in customer success, account management, order management, or B2B client service. Experience with an ERP or order system (Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, Acumatica, or similar) and a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Clear, professional written English. You will write to clients every day. A record of following a documented process the same way every time. Comfort in a warehouse environment. You will be on the floor most days. The ability to move between client email and floor work in the same hour without dropping either. Reliable on-site attendance in Irving, Monday through Friday. Strong plus Promotional products, print, decoration (embroidery, screen print, laser), or 3PL and fulfillment experience. Kitting or assembly program experience. Odoo specifically.
Spreadsheet skill beyond the basics:
lookups and pivot tables. Compensation and benefits $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Medical coverage, with a company contribution toward the premium. A company 401(k) plan.
