Job Description

Allegheny Partners is a boutique management firm in Roanoke, Virginia focused on creating unique integrated lifestyle developments throughout Roanoke's vibrant downtown community. We are partners in comprehensive property management. The Accounting and Customer Service Coordinator will perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable entry and processing for all companies within our portfolio and affiliates; set up and manage utility accounts and associated portals and Tenant utility bill back; assist in office management and organization, database and file management; answer phones; and perform day time customer services hosting duties for our self service hotel.
Responsibilities:
ž Accounts Payable, Tenant Receivable entry and processing; maintain data uniformity and general ledger coding consistency Intercompany and shared expense allocations including credit card and expense report processing Compose and edit internal and external communications Manage and monitor utility billing accounts for usage and bill publication, ensure accuracy and maintenance of portals, bill back to Tenants Assist with database information requests; Physical and digital file maintenance Organize office supplies Act as Courier, errands Maintain accuracy and ensure assigned modules within Quickbooks and Appfolio are current Answer Self Service Hotel inquiries via phone, Guesty and AirBNB platforms; guest verification, book guests, run payment Maintain deadlines Open and process mail Answer phones Other accounting, office, and customer service duties duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1-2 years of accounts payable and receivable experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented with proven accurate data entry skills Working knowledge of Microsoft OS; preference given to those candidates with Quickbooks and/or Appfolio experience Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Pleasant, customer service oriented demeanor Associates or equivalent required; Bachelors preferred
Pay:
From $42,500.00 per year
