You will become familiar with our order management, purchasing, inventory, logistics, shipping, and sales support processes , while working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal team members. A key part of the position will be learning how products move through our business—from the time a customer places an order, through purchasing and inventory management, all the way through fulfillment and shipment. You will utilize our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as a primary tool to manage orders, monitor inventory, track purchasing, and provide visibility throughout the process. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to transition into a permanent role and provides an opportunity to develop broad experience across customer service, supply chain, purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and sales support.

Inventory Management:
Become familiar with our inventory and stocking levels. Monitor inventory against customer demand, identify potential shortages, and help ensure the appropriate parts are available when needed.
Purchasing:
Identify purchasing needs based on customer orders, inventory levels, and demand. Place supplier orders and proactively track open purchases, lead times, and potential supply delays.
Logistics & Shipping:
Gain hands-on experience with the logistics side of the business, including coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, tracking deliveries, preparing shipping documentation and labels, and helping ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Customer Portals & EDI:
Navigate various customer networks, online portals, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems to capture new orders, monitor updates, and ensure customer-specific documentation requirements are met.
Sales Team Support:
Provide the sales team with ongoing insight into customer demand, inventory availability, ordering trends, purchasing needs, and potential fulfillment issues.
Order Fulfillment & Invoicing:
Coordinate the final stages of order fulfillment, organize labels and paperwork, verify shipments, and accurately process customer invoices.
Cross-Functional Support:
Work across multiple areas of the business and develop a strong understanding of how customer service, purchasing, inventory, logistics, shipping, and sales work together to fulfill customer needs. What We're Looking For Attention to
