The DBI Agent Development Program is a role for professionals looking to get into the commercial or personal insurance industry. DBI provides all training within a team setting. Licensed Agents provide service to a diverse range of clients while taking care of yearly insurance renewals. This is a long-term career opportunity with a great company for someone who is committed to their professional growth.

EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES

• Train within a team on handling all aspects of client service
• Handle day-to-day service requests within their respective team
• Assist senior team members in handling insurance renewals
• Prepare client documents with high attention to detail and professionalism
• Organize and handle significant and sensitive client data in accordance with agency standards
• Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and clients
• Network with insurance carriers to build relationships and to support business development
• Inspire trust in the DBI team by resolving client concerns courteously and proactively

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 or more years within a professional work setting
• Willing to obtain an Alaska insurance license
• College degree in business or something similar is preferred but not required
