Job Description

Position Title:
Client Services Assistant Non-Exempt .8 FTE $25/hour
Monday-Thursday:
9am-5:30pm Reports to:
Client Services Manager Locations:
Aptos and throughout Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties as needed for outreach and events Hourly All employees receive paid-time off and holidays. We provide a Roth IRA through CalSavers after 60 days. Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits after 60 days.
Position Descriptions Client Services Support:
Field phone inquiries, provide blank referral forms to new clients/providers, receive provider-submitted referrals Complete new client intakes and ensure referrals are complete and accurate; follow up with provider if needed Field phone inquiries and assess appropriateness for the program. Keep all client information accurate and complete in program database and create necessary reports Conduct or coordinate client check-in calls and completion surveys Provide regular narrative, data and oral reports and presentations on the Client Services Program; capture ongoing client testimonials and stories Administrative tasks such as filing, database reporting, emails, mailings and preparing packets of program materials Coordinate the Client Birthday Program Able to work Monday through Friday, some days until 6pm, with occasional weekend hours with advance notice Attend staff and team meetings Screening for Medi-Cal eligibility Meal Invoicing and Insurance Claim Submission Handling Claim Denials and Appeals Insurance Follow Up Fills in as backup when Client Manager is unavailable Qualifications A commitment to Teen Kitchen Project's Mission and Operating Principles Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (including face-to-face, phone, email and text) Able to troubleshoot in real-time Experience training and managing others preferred Computer savvy and willingness and ability to learn new programs quickly Self-directed; comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish strongly preferred Valid California driver's license and excellent driving record HIPAA-certification (we will assist with this)
